Have a look at the absolute shit the vast majority of Conference and L2 supporters are forced to endure every Saturday and ask yourself, would you rather be watching our actual footballers or Welling's hack-it-and-hope merchants?

Sometimes we **** it up and we do have a couple of absolute frauds in the squad, but by and large, we're good to watch and jolly entertaining. We'll lose Youngy's registration in January, but if we can either get him back on loan, or develop McQuilkin, we should be in for a thoroughly worthwhile 6 months.

Matt.

Sorry should be acceleration.
Must have been thinking of excellebration a racehorse who was second to the incomparable Frankel a few times.

Excelleration. Love that word..!!

Anyway, I too am eagerly anticipating forthcoming games. It's not just individual players (and don't forget young Ives). There are bound to be ups and downs during the course of a season, but CH is gradually building a squad and a team which is exciting to watch. Not just capable of competing with the best, but with the possibility of actually being the best come the end of the season.

And a good win over Barnet on Saturday will confirm the Gulls' return to form. They deserve all our support.

Something to look forward to.

I am really looking forward to our home games.
We have three players who really excite me.
Luke Young, Louis Briscoe and Toby Ajala.
Young for his all round commitment to the team and explosive shooting power.
Briscoe. Well if you are waiting for him to lose some weight, don't hold your breath.
It just could be its optimum playing size.
After all he has been in full training since July.
He again has an eye for goal and has deceptive speed, look at his excelleration against Eastley setting up the easy chance for Bowman.
Finally Toby Ajala. He would have has as much skill in his feet than anyone I can remember in recent history.
His work rate is phenomenal and each time he gets the ball in forward positions you feel something good is going to happen.
