During May 2012, Easton agreed a year long contract with Torquay United to take place at the end of the season. The contract had already been signed and taken place, although Football League rules state that even players unattached to clubs may not play until the season is over, and thus only played for Torquay United's Reserve Team during the 2011/12 campaign. This is the second time he has played under manager Martin Ling, the first time being Leyton Orient.
