Gone to his head at being a pro at Torquay United!
Is this fact or terraces rumour?

Thanks Roar, I hadn't heard that.

Well I suppose he's got a bit more money than those in the bay in his age group (I say this as a 23 year old student) there's always going to be mishaps (of which alcohol invariably plays a big part), let's hope we don't have another Zebroski on our hands. I personally like Thompson - though, this does explain why he's not been getting any minutes on the pitch.

What's this? I've been questioning Thompsons lack of game time of late.

That's another thing: why do so many youngsters these days have issues,,?!!?

This is the last thing we need: Billy will miss two games due to international duty..!!

I wouldn't deny him that opportunity, and wish him all the best, but it's another urgent reason for us to get another loan signing up front.

Otherwise, we should play young Thompson on the wing, with an attacking formation, and give our fringe players more chances to contribute.

I think one of our problems has been a lack of willingness to make changes in the team, and as a result a few players perhaps feel subconsciously that they don't have to make so much of an effort to justify their places in the team.

Having to continually fight for a place in the team is what has brought Man U their success; the opposite could be what has brought the Gulls their slide down the table..

Got to say, completely not even thinking about THAT nutmeg, Billy impressed me last night. He won't go into my top five in the MOTM thread when I visit it next, but I thought his effort and general body language/attitude looked a lot better, especially in the first half. Hopefully this is a turning point.

I agree with your last post though supergulls. It is encouraging and now we need to see him kick on from this. :scarf:

Oh and don't drink and post. Many of us have come unstuck doing that!

Sorry Austrian drunk posting from me again and bloody predictive text.. Noted and edited !! Of course he deserved the stick he has received this season. He has been poor, but the lad showed glimpses tonight of the player that is in there. He now needs to do that more regularly.
