I think the main problem with Jarvis is he is suffering from that rare illness that only affects TUFC players from time to time.
Its known as acute Constantine-itus.
You know the symptoms - a decent loan spell is followed by a contract offer and expectation from the crowd. What follows is a steady loss of form and increased frustration and tension. Normally the only way this can be cured is for the player to be "transplanted" to another club, where normally they will flourish.
Unfortunately this illness is highly contagious - as well as affecting Jarvis it has got to Poke and Bodin too, and to some extent Oastler.
We used to have an immunisation program, as clearly Craig Taylor and Brian McGlinchey were immune back in 2003/4, but those days are long gone.
