Anyone got a survey for most expensive postage cost of tickets being sent out to you in England?

We should be top of that too........ :-D

Talking off rip offs, anyone ever been the Eden Project? A giant glass golf ball filled with triffids and costs over £50 for a family. Bargain! :-/

Somebody mentioned local bakers? Well, sorry but they are in the rip-off game as much as anyone. This is modern Britain..

When they've put offers on in the past, I don't think the attendance has barely changed. We have a fairly static fanbase no matter what the price.

Can anyone guess what the breakdown of our gate might be?

so of a 2,500 crowd what % are
Season ticket holders
Adults
Children
Concessions

Would be interesting to see if there was a drastic cut in ticket price, would we make it up on attendance?

My colleague' s family live in Wigan, and I ALWAYS get her to bring 6 Wigan Pies (Greenhalgh's) back. I eat them watching Final Score and pretend I'm at Plainmoor.......

Anyone who spends £3 on a TUFC pie needs their head testing! The only thing I dare eat is the chips.

I'd have a pasty if it was a decent one and priced at £2. Same for the pies I reckon.

I remember going up to places like Wigan in the 80's

They used to sell such delights as faggots and mushy peas at Springfield Park and Torquay fans were always up for the challenge of tasting the local cuisine

I dare say away fans at Torquay would be tempted by a traditional good quality pasty

....after all they are the West Countries equivalent of meals on wheels

a good pasty is one of the most fantastic foodstuffs about i reckon, but i'm constantly disappointed with them. obviously living in sheffield i'm not gonna be spoilt for choice and you never see them for sale at football.

its about time clubs ditched pukka pies and all went to a local manufacturer, to keep business thriving in the local area. 16,000 pasties is a great number, surely theres a local baker who would leap at the chance of supplying pasties pies and sausage rolls to our lovely club

never been too impressed by ivor dewdneys, his brother rons are better and they were what argyle sold last time i went to home park i think??

they do a pretty good one at the mem, and i'll def be partaking in one on saturday

Agree with Portugull, most food at footy is a total rip off and tastes like poo. I'll buy a pie or sausage roll occasionally but generally don't bother too much. At the end of the day you CAN vote with your pockets and not buy any food , ANYONE has that choice. a pie at £3 is expensive i agree but not as bad as a cup of tea for £2 which some clubs charge A cup of tea should be a quid max and any more than that is a disgrace and if you pay it you need locking up.

In all my years visiting Plainmoor I have NEVER bought any food because what is on offer is overpriced and just awful.
As a pasty lover I just do not understand why we cannot sell good Devon pasties at a sensible price.
Huge progress at Plainmoor in the last few years but catering should be top of Andrew Candys list for a radical shakeup.

Or perhaps if they actually ever have any pasties left by the time I get there at half time that would be a bonus!

Perhaps if they offere a decent pasty in the first place, they might outsell the burgers!
How about a 'pasty taste off' over the pre season?

It always amazes me how a club in Devon appears to sell more Burgers than pasties!

As an occassional visitor to some of the South West Pennisula Clubs they do put TUFC to shame at the shear number of pasties they get through during a match, sometimes it seems to be more than 1 for everyone there!

As for prices to attend matches well, Plainmoor is, in line with most clubs in the 4th division, rarely more than 33% full. As long as those running clubs remain happy with short term gain as appose to getting fans into the habit of going week in week out things will not change.

I always think it a great shame that there are literary thousands of people who have been to footy in the past, would love to go again, but just cannot justify the admission cost.

I am not having a go at our directors in particular here, but until they have the same experiance as the fans do when they attend football things will never change
