I didn't know you lived in Bristol Kernow. You must come out and say hello sometime. I am in Yate. pronounces Yaaghty by those who think they are posh. or even lower Sodbury if really posh.
I can't attend the Rovers match this season in Bristol. Booo hooo waaaahhh yelll sniffle snort. Not fair.

I am going to get it put off. I will you just see if I don't. it will snow for weeks up here.
The pub your refering to is indeed the Wellington. Pretty safe around there. If you go up the hill a bit then turn left into Kelloway Ave, all along there is parking.
The grassy area you refer to is Horfield Common. You can go past Kelloway Avenue and turn left by the Horfield Sports centre. Go down the road and turn left again and you can find parking along there either in front of the Teritorial Army barracks (The Police park the Horse lorries there) or further along and the road bends right down toward Wellington Hill. there is plety of parking there, . Or if going down the hill, turn right just as to pass the Wellington and the road branches off and goes down a bit and then turns sharp right. it goes up to the crossroads with Kelloway avenue. just at the junction at the traffic lights there is the Church hall and they use their car park for Rovers supporters. Charge is £2 or was when I last went. I nearly always park in there. They usualy keep an eye on cars there.
Try not to park down Filton Avenue. You won't be able to by the Stadium but across the other side of Muller Road it gets pretty jammes up and it's not unknown for cars to be vandalised if you far enough up that road or any offshoots from it. The area is rougher there.
The Stadium car park is sold out with pre paid tickets so you won't get in there. I don't know what faciltities they have for disabled. I never used them if there were any, Haven't followed them for years now.
