Anyone reckon he might get a game against Tiverton? No harm in seeing what hes like. Could be a diamond in the rough...Never know if anyone can get the best out of someone its Lingy.

George trained today but has not come as a center half so pannick over he's on trial as a holding midfielder that can cover at center half but he is a bit short.

I'm guessing that it might be some hotel car park in Torquay? I imagine he's on trial if he is here, seems to have said in previous tweet that he should be in Ibiza right now but has more important things to be doing. Like impressing Ling I'm guessing.

I can't see this happening on anything more than a fruitless trial for the kid. We have 2 young centre backs, and Saah. Ling has already said that the final piece of the jigsaw is an experinced centre back, who we could really do with signing asap!!!

I've seen George play and he definitely not the established experienced player we need. George was having a game on Saturday for someone else and depending on the outcome of that match was possibly coming down to take part in the game against Tiverton .

Could be on trial, was just told he was coming down on Monday n assumed as was no mention of a trial when I was told that he was signing permanently, hopefully it is only a trial!

I know, he's going on holiday there and we all need the best of luck going on hols in Torquay don't we?!

Can't reveal the source, but to confirm my info if you search for "George artemi" on twitter n look at tweets involving his name there was a tweet 3 days ago wishing him best of luck in Torquay

I'm not even sure if Artemi made any appearances for Stortford, before he went on his merry way around the Ryman league. I remember seeing his name, but only on the website - certainly not on the team sheet of any of the games I saw.

Trialist would make more sense. If there is any truth in this, he would not be first choice.

Not having this, we have Cruise and that lovely lad who played against the Marines as well as Leadbitter (sp?), that's more than enough youthful cover in defence. We need a starter, not more sage sapping bench warmers.
