I wan't born then but my parents were there. Dad is Torquay and mum is Man u. Why did the programme have Bomber on the front?

As Bobby began the 4th highest transfer earner for Torquay, I am intrigued by Lee sharpes transfer, it states 180k plus 'friendly', so what was the result of the match and where was it played? I supported united around that time but cant remember playing them so please help me with this one
