Has anyone else noticed that Stevegull's (the last reply before this one) was the 13th reply to a post started by Bixie on the 13th May? Superstitious? Nah.

Joke or no joke, I'm taking no chances, I'm bringing a can of air freshener on Thursday and emptying the contents all over you. ;-)

To check to see if there is no striker lurking behind him before he puts the ball on the floor to kick it forward. No superstitions just sensible play after a few keepers including the Stockport one if you remember way back have been caught out doing this. That one by Hilly.

Perhaps this is going a little bit off topic but whilst watching the match with my son on Sunday he asked if Bobby was superstitious because he kept turning round in circles. Has anyone noticed this and/ or know why he does it?

My lucky mug stopped working around the same time as our run of bad form started. Coincidence? Hmmmm.

superstitions??

by bixieupnorth » 13 May 2012, 15:05

i dont normally believe in rituals, however i did enjoy my run of starting matchday threads that resulted in 4 consecutive wins, but that was blown out of the water a few games ago, and failed again with todays game

yesterday i uploaded my avatar onto my iphone to hopefully bring good luck, and also ate the stick of torquay rock whilst watching the game, those two are to be swiftly binned!! and obviously my backing of various teams works sometimes!!

what daft rituals do any of you crazy bunch have??
