How do we, the little people, get our game back from the crooks of the world ?

I'll get myself up to the Model Village in St.Marychurch, crouch down, and listen to what the real little people have to say.

If FIFA really wanted to change the world using football, they should have give Qatar the women's world cup.

Now that it's all over, surely our thoughts must turn to revenge. I suggest Torquay United announces that it will refuse to take part in the Champions or Europa leagues.

FIFA should be run as a charity, not a profit making organisation - because they're more concerned with who'll give them the most revenue for themselves than putting on a great tournament. Some of the people making the decision, especially people like Jack Warner, should never be allowed any power within football.

Giving the Qatar national team passage into the World Cup is a farce - they're 113th in the world (one below the Central African Republic). It's going to be a real spectacle watching them take on Brazil. That's before you get to the logic behind hosting a sports tournament in the middle of a desert in 50 degree heat.

They're building 10 new stadiums - 8 of which will be basically torn down straight away after the tournament. But when money's no object you always have a chance with FIFA. Still, homosexuality is illegal and there's no alcohol - so the fans will have a great time.

England would have held a great tournament that fans would have enjoyed, but at least now taxpayers won't have to pay for the stadiums, transport and hotels - to give FIFA a tax-free profit.

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! And here was me believing a God didn t exist! After having spent some twenty billion pounds (or thereabouts) on a new stadium that within a year of completion will not be good enough for even a load of “travellers” to move into. Qatar says it all - It will be 50 degrees C there in summer, and apparently the stadiums will be built with AIR CONDITIONING!?!?!? That is pure madness.

There will be empty seats everywhere in Qatar. There were empty seats in South Africa, and Africa is a passionate footballing continent. If FIFA think fans will travel across the world, with no alcohol, bars and clubs, to watch football in the desert then they are barking. Attendances will be poor, and the people of Qatar wont turn up to fill the empty spaces, they are not a footballing nation.

Russia has no infrastructure and no stadia. What's the fecking point!? We could stage a world cup next week'

Sorry mate but football has nothing to do with the big business that is todays version of the game and my faith disappeared in 1993 at the advent of the 'Greed is the Key' Premiership.

They were never going to vote to come here, they've done the Med. Lets face it, we as a people dont holiday at home (its so cold and miserable, rain, weathers crap blah blah) so we can hardly blame them.
They're just doing what we would do given their position.

Sounds like the real reason that England only got 2 votes was tactical; trying to eliminate the English early....2 of the votes that had been Holland/Belgium's in the first round were switched to Russia in the second.
