Apart from the membership scheme there is nothing for the fan who lives away and cant attend many matches. Why cant a system be drawn up with fans who can only attend a few matches a season and cant afford a tenner a month plus match costs to get tickets. I dont mind it being a paying members area but with costs so high attending matches from distance I cannot afford the members tenner a month plus a near a ton every match for wifey and I. We need something affordable untill the economy starts to improve.

As builders go to the wall (collapsing as opposed to building one) quicker than you can say ROK, then I'm on the side of TUFC in the manner of staged payments for completed works.

Hah! Maybe they've heard of the 'football creditors' rule and were worried about getting paid if things go tits up. The same as being held in escrow, I guess.

It means the contractors wanted a portion of the money held somewhere else as security, at least that's my understanding of the problem.

My understanding of works, is payment due when initial starting materials arrive on site. As more material arrives/phased works are completed, then staged payments are due. Final payment is due on satisfactory completion together with all the the relevant statutory documents.

As for "neutral zone", haven't got a clue what that means.

I''m not so sure they did get the sack, Chris. I heard it was more to do with how much money was going to be placed in a "neutral zone" prior to work commencing. I can't blame either side really for protecting their own interests,

surprised that more hasn't been made of the fact that the people who were supposed to building the grandstand got the sack.

So.. what appeared as a doofus answer, was in fact a well thought out response? fair enough. We have faith in Lingy!

Correct Matt. Even Chris does not know his best position. He is capable of doing a job anywhere on the pitch. ML did suggest that Chris, himself, feels that because of this he will be unable to hold down a regular place in the starting line up, and would only be on the pitch if we did not have a player for any given position (Through injury or suspension I guess). ML said that he has assured CM that, that wont happen. If CM plays well then he will keep his place on the team, wherever that may be.

No, it was a perfectly fair answer, because that was exactly the question I asked him.

Far from suggesting that he simply does not know, he presented it in as much as he doesn't know, because he has absolute faith in Chris to be able to play wherever we need him most. Dinger did suggest that Chris would certainly be able to nail down a starting place in one position, if he is the best option for the team.

Matt.
