Im sure i read on the BBC that Reid was even paying some of Plymouths utility bills.

there must be players there who would struggle to get any other offers, so are probably staying and hoping things turn around, but the likes of Cole must've had other clubs after him, so would seem a strange move (for him), but a good signing for the club. i think Plymouth are lucky that Reid has stuck with them, cos he's no mug, and must be playing a huge part in keeping the players "happy" in the meantime.

Future promises would be my guess. For this League they are a very big club and if they come through this dark spell and turn things around then they are a high profile club to be playing for.

Risky to sign for them at present but those that do are banking on future success for a club which was once recently pushing for promotion to the Premier League. Bit like Ross Hannah and Bradford.

I seriously do not understand how they are getting players to sign for them. They couldnt pay the wages again and Dickinson left because of this (would be my guess)
So how have Argyle signed a very good keeper and he wont be getting any wages if things carry on the way they are.

Surley we could have signed him if there paying him nothing? :red: (That was a bad joke)
But still anyone know how they can manage to sign players when they cant afford to pay there current players.
