I'd be pleased if TUFC were able to bring both players to Plainmoor.
I think they are part time at Worthing so suspect these guys have jobs that would prevent them moving.

I don't suppose we know the kick off time yet do we ?
I have a flight home so will have to livestream it if timings work. Fancy booking a holiday when the Play Off final is on...
Stupid boy. Having said all that I'm not at all confident of beating Boreham Wood , our record in play offs is not good - 2 successes and 6 failures think but I know that means nothing

The final is on the 18th as confirmed on the NL website.

Wasnt a surprise result this for me. I watched the Dorking game a few weeks back when DAZN didnt show and then lied about our game v Weymouth and they indeed looked like they (Worthing) had run out of steam. The only advantage we would have (should we get through) is it being at home although that didnt help Worthing last year. Not sure why then needed a two week break between semi and final. I think Dorking were the team to avoid as they were streets ahead of BW prior to the sending off on Tuesday.

At least you are trying to play football. You totally destroyed us at home a couple of seasons ago playing some lovely stuff, I hope we build a similar style of play. Best of luck next season, but obviously I hope we won’t be playing you.
👍🏻

Basically they out thought/fought us, tiring out an already tired team. Their press was immense and Aaron Blair was a next level nuisance. Thought they'd tire and maybe give us a bit more space but they never did.

Play like that three times in a week and they can certainly do it, but play like that three times in a week and there should be a drugs test on every player 😉

That's where your advantage will lie if you get through your Semi, fitness v fatigue. Tactically they were bob on, application they were bob on too.

So Worthing, who were clear at the top with a game in hand a few weeks ago have blown it again.
You say 'blew it', I say ran out of steam, let's call the whole thing off 😆

Weren't in that tonight at all, credit 'Stones press but in truth the writing was on the wall for the last month or so.

On our day we can play through anyone but that the last fully part time team in the game blew a gasket and limped through the final furlong is no great surprise. And that's what needs addressing to change things next season, the switch to hybrid/full time.

But we still outpointed last season’s 'dream team' and have come on leaps and bounds off the pitch in what was only supposed to be a consolidation period after Hinshelwood left and took the best players.

So it's all good, lots to be pleased with 👍🏻

Of the three teams I would've wanted to go up, one is up, one is out and one is still in it. So as I was always going to go to Priory Lane on Sunday anyway, I'll be able to do you a scouting report on your next opponents... hopefully 🤞🏻

Worthing have been the best side to visit Plainmoor last year and this but have lost in the playoffs again. Maidstone are the only top nine side to beat us this season. I hope if we can win on Saturday that Eastbourne can continue their unbeaten home form against Maidstone.....that would mean we would host Eastbourne.on 18th May.

Hopefully this will be of interest to us.
Maidstone are 1.0 up.
I've been impressed with Worthing every time I've seen them in the last two seasons but would prefer to play them to Maidstone who we rarely seem to beat.
