Thanks a lot for starting this Dazza. Trains were a nightmare, so it took me from 6.30am until 12.30am on Saturday to get down from Edinburgh and back. Does mean I can add my own thoughts for once though!
Kalala - all our attacking players did well today, but I have to give Kalala the edge for making chances out of nothing. Not many players can run the length of the pitch and make a chance from nowhere, but he was on top form today and carried the ball really well.
Whitfield - Played between the midfield and attack, and caused them all sorts of problems. He found space, ran at them and forced two own goals through the quality of the ball into the box.
Reid - Led the line, harried their defence and linked up well with Whitfield in particular. Got into goalscoring positions and took the chances when they arrived. The own goals were forced by the quality of the crosses, but also Reid being there to finish them if the defenders hadn't taken action.
Vincent - his passing was very good, and especially in the second half he helped to keep the ball and control the midfield.
Andrews - Set-piece delivery was good, and hit the bar with another free-kick. He picked the ball up from Davis quite regularly and found the attackers with a ball into feet, which kept the ball on the ground and our attacks progressing.
This was one of those times where narrowing it down to five is tough on some, but I think given the performance it is a week where it favours the attacking players - we caused them a lot more problems than they caused us, so even with the clean sheet, that's our five most attacking players who made the cut. No-one had a bad game though.
