I agree, the atmosphere last night with no drum and all of us sitting down was electrical.

I say we get a louder and better sounding drum in the popside the one at the minute sounds a litte used should I say. Or is it just me?

The Torquay United guideline (if there was one) should read:
CEASE DRUMMING!!

Somebody at Bradford City evidently needs to remove their head from their arse.

Blimey. The missed a bullet point:

Take extra care to remove all thoughts of spontaneity and fun that were probably the reason you considered a drum in the first, and instead become a brainless automaton tugging your forelock at your 'betters'.

Don't ever go to Bradford...
Code of conduct for drummers in the stadium (away section)

The role is intended to enhance the atmosphere at Bradford City FC home matches in the 2009/10 season. Away drummers are to be positioned only in the visitors section of the East (Midland Road) Stand. It should be recognised that all supporters do not like the use of drums at the stadium but the Club is trying to enable supporters to show their support for the team. This arrangement may be removed, without notice, if there is any breach of the following guidelines or the Club deem there is a lack of support for drumming in the ground at any time in the future.

In delivering the role, you will be required to:
• Use the drum to provide an improved atmosphere at the ground
• Liaise with the Area Supervisor on arrival at the ground to establish whether there are any special requirements for that particular match
• Use only the seat allocated as per your match ticket or as instructed by the Area Supervisor
• Gain the prior approval of the Stadium Control (via the Area Supervisor) if another person wishes to take over the drumming
• Comply with any requests from safety personnel, stewards or Police
• Ensure that the drum is not left unattended at any time or left in any area that may cause an obstruction or enable it to be misused by any other spectator
• Cease drumming immediately if it leads to persistent standing in any area of the ground
• Cease drumming immediately if any chanting that includes bad language or any racist elements starts in any area of the ground
• Cease drumming if it is considered that it is leading to increased movement by spectators in the South or other stands
• Support and comply with any initiatives of Bradford City Football Club and Football League to improve behaviour and enjoyment of spectators at matches

Are yes this is true, they would have to figure out the tune and timing, other wise you could end with.

'We are the ' followed by endless chorus of 'yellow army' at 1 word per milli second, that would be messy and wrong :)

In stead of 'were the yellow army' on the down slooooow.

You are going to confuse them, most of them still have velcro because they struggle with shoe laces, hence why they can take their shoes on and off so quickly for the "Shoes off if you love Torquay" chant.

Hopefully none of them can read this, otherwise Tuesday night could be interesting for me at Swindon LOL

:) indeed, however if the fans were to get ambitious really push the boat out,and were to add 'we' 'are' 'the' to 'yellow' 'army' ,just think of the endless mix and match combinations we would have then :)

Spot on SG, cheers. I do have a smaller "less noisey" drum and felt the kids may enjoy it, but at the same time the families may go in the family stand to avoid the drum.

I am taking the daughter to the Morecambe game, hopefully she will see a win at her first game. She knows I take my drum to games and keeps asking are we taking it to this one........ I might take it but not necessarily play it for the 90 minutes as normal.

Paul always uses the Popside, this time is different because he wants to take his 5 year old daughter to her first game, hence his request to use the family stand.
