Agree! I now see another valuable member of the Gary Johnson’s squad - Ben Wynter - has committed his future to the Gulls.

If we fail this season then we can kiss goodbye to the Johnson clan for a start .
We got to believe we're better than the rest in this division. Because we are on paper.
Would definitely be better if it was on a Subbuteo pitch rather than paper (especially if Brucie could provide a myopic referee) as there would be absolutely no competition from any of the other teams in NLS (unless they played in borrowed kit) ....

Do not agree with Teigngull at all. Why would Johnson even bother to sign players for next year, he will be here regardless but is still a marketable quantity in the football world so I hope that his recognised by the owner at the end of the season.

If we don't finish top we have to finish second which is very important. No point in panicking about Bath.

Not ideal and anything could happen but two home games to go up still gives us a good chance.

Qualifying Round – Match A – 5th place vs 6th place
Qualifying Round – Match B – 4th place vs 7th place

Sunday 5th May 2019
Semi Final – 2nd place vs winner of Match A
Semi Final – 3rd place vs winner of Match B

Sunday 12th May 2019
Promotion Final

Am I correct in understanding that the highest placed Team in the Final gets home advantage in a 1 off game? If we finish 2nd then we would play both the Semi (assuming we win) and then the Final at home.

The Conference Final is at Wembley yet our league doesn't state the venue.
You've already said if we finish 2nd then we would play the semi ( assuming we win) and final at home....

At least we know that to finish second would give us two gone play off games to get promoted. But often the higher places teams don’t win the play offs. We need to finish top!!!!!

Personally, the thought of playoffs fill me with dread,, too much can go wrong with the playoffs as in the big game at Bath when most of our team not so much bottled it but did not turn up for whatever reason. Not sure how these youngsters would react to the pressure of winner take all matches.

It is a one off match at the home of the highest placed finalist.

I think it is at the home ground of the team who finished highest in the league but may be wrong.

The play offs rightly favour the teams finishing second and third.
