You cannot deny that it is great news. His stock may have fallen over the last season or two with injuries etc but watching him against North Ferriby he is still an excellent player at this level.

Excellent news.

Did anyone else pick up on the ominous tone of the last sentence of the Herald piece - "possibly one or two departures". Really hoping we get Sparkes signed up now, don't want to see him go elsewhere.
