It's risky to judge a player on one match, but Ronald Huth looks a class player. No disrespect to Bath City, but however did he end up training with a National South side? As everyone is saying, he would be a good signing. He wouldn't have been playing if he wasn't interested in coming to Torquay, but the question has to be - is there money available ?

Huth looked very classy, effortless almost, with excellent distribution, playing a few long precise passes that Alex Russell would have been pleased with. He timed his tackles to perfection and looks far too good for this level. I would be amazed if we managed to secure him.

Yes. Very much left footed. But did stray across in the second half to make some timely tackles.

That Wiki article suggests he plays on the left of defence. Was he playing there with Gerring on his right?

This illustrates the importance of the players fund, if we really want new angus to sign then we all need to chip in!

Yes indeed. The word in Gullsnest was that Barnsleygull (not Supernickywroe) has now gone for £100k, but not sure why this has not been reported officially.

The red shirt will really enhance his bleached hair (Gus's, not Supernickywroe's).

He was very good, I have to say. Timed his challenges well consistently throughout the game, and did his best with the distribution in tough conditions.

If his last registration was in Bolivia though, we'll need international clearance to come through before he can play, which might be a couple of weeks. With two games a week he could easily miss a good few games, even if he signs on tomorrow.

According to that wiki link he holds Italian nationality so as we are still in the EU we can sign him. Lets hope we can find the money to do so !!

We must sign this guy. I guess he will need International clearance.
Apparently holds an Italian passport so clearance wouldn't necessarily be such a pain as it could be.

Encouraged by the sound of this guy and hope it's a move we can make happen

Yes, he was my MOTM - hopefully he will be signed. If he does get signed it will be a good replacement for McDonald and could mean a good season awaits.

Very impressed with this man. I saw one mistake which he then covered by conceding a corner. And one foul on the edge of the penalty area which came to nowt.

PS Gerring also did very well - well done Ben.
