Attendance records

Was yesterday's the smallest League crowd we have played in front of?

Has to be one of the smallest home crowds at least.

The smallest crowd was at Leigh RMI back in the nineties. Leigh were on their way to oblivion and hadn't won a game in aeons. I think the crowds were less that 120.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I wonder where the BBC found the extra 7,000!

Anybody got an answer for the smallest crowd?

According to Tranmere's own website, the attendance was 5418.

According to Wiki- 11085 is (was) the highest, Bristol Rovers last season, so if that's right, yes, a new record.

Just a thought but, was yesterday's attendance at Tranmere a record for this league? BBC listed it at 12,418 which was 22 times the attendance at Boredom Wood!

Presumably the likes of Luton and Bristol Rovers might have pushed it close but I am hard pressed to think of any other team that could muster so many.

On the other side of that coin what is the lowest?

Ps. Apols. if this is considered not to be an 'all things Plainmoor' item but it does contrast starkly with the attendance for our game yesterday.
