Grimsby, Halifax , Lincoln , Altrincham , southport and barrow. That's roughly £12k.

Just one thought regarding overnight stays, has the sleep over actually helped the squad on match day, in the majority of instances NO. So if the average overnight stay costs around £2k to the club, why not scrap overnight stays and invest this in the squad, because let's face it we have nothing to lose.

Absolutely! Nicho will either save us or will take us down. If we go down can't see us getting back anytime soon but hopefully the Club will survive financially.

How does a club with no money appoint and pay off yet another manager?

To save this season the club have to appoint a proven manager otherwise another relegation is on the cards.

There are a lot of emotions being expressed on the Site this evening ranging from deep depression to stoical acceptance of we are where we are. There is even some very limited optimism.
We are nearly halfway through the season and the reality of our situation is
1. We have a new Board and Chief Exec who are on a massive learning curve. Four Directors and Dean Edwards have gone since we started out on this journey so the burden is falling on fewer shoulders.
2. We have an inexperienced but enthusiastic management team who are locally based.
3. The current playing staff were largely rapidly assembled by the previous manager after the New Board took over. Time wasn't on their side to assemble a team because the season was looming.
4. Supporters are feeling alienated from the Club because of the way things have been run over the last three years or so.

The best we can reasonably hope for this season is to avoid relegation whilst the Board needs to demonstrate leadership and Kevin Nicholson needs to wheel and deal to improve the good, bad (some can be very naughty apparently!) and indifferent squad that he has inherited
