STATEMENT OF AFFAIRS?

Surely the best for us as a forum in general to deal with these posters is to ignore them, don't to rise to them, they'll get bored and do one.

How does the saying go about polishing a turd?

I wonder if you used the same email address you used to register with us?

I'm sure Dave (SG) could find out if they received an email from you or not, given his contacts. He managed to help out the poor guy the other day who claimed to have emailed the club about sponsorship - all a misunderstanding apparently....

;-)

No agenda here certainly not from this end anyway. No one suggested we are going bust or could go bust (Other than Deano) I have just said publish the good news. Yes I have written to the Club and still await a response. Very disappointed, anyway see you all tomorrow I will be wearing my Helmet :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

I am entitle to have my say like the rest of you :rules: :rules: :rules:

It's certainly worth the discussion in my view, Rich. You can also add another poster to the list who I've been dealing with privately but the agenda is still the same ;-)

Can the mods not ban these vermin? I realise the forum is all for freedom of speech but when lies are being spread using this social media platform as a medium surely it is best all round if they are not allowed to air their agendas here?

Yells wrote: Without being unkind to you Keith I am far more qualified to tell you there is every need for this, especially in the circumstances of what has alleged to have gone on during handover to the new board. It was mention that the Board has not touch their initial investment, is this because they have extended their credit terms or profitable trading? Its is a fair request :rules: :rules: :rules:
Qualified in what exactly? You're practically illiterate.

I've been thinking the same thing, Jerry. These fools offer nothing to this forum except throwing in a wild accusation and seemingly enjoying the gloomy picture they portray.

Yells wrote: Ok three simple questions

1) Will Torquay United currently, or will it in the future, be unable to pay its debts as and when they fall due for payment? YES/NO
2) Is the value of the Torquay United's assets less than the amount of its liabilities, taking into account as yet uncertain and future liabilities? YES/NO
3) Do you honestly know the answer to questions 1 & 2 YES/NO

:rules: :rules: :rules:
1) Currently we can pay our debts, in the future? How can anyone know what the situation will be in the future (except Mystic Meg) at any club?

2) You have already asked this question in one of your other guises (Mushroom or WBW, can't remember which). But to repeat...our assets are greater than our liabilities.

3) Yes.

So in summary...we aren't about to go bust so please bugger off and spread your lies somewhere else.

Why did you not just go to the fans forum the other night and ask these questions? Or, if you couldn't make it, why not pop into the club and ask? The new board have made it quite clear that they want to hear supporter input. I'm sure they'd be happy to accommodate your questions. If you don't live in the area then there is another option, just email the club. I emailed them last night regarding a different matter at 10pm and got a reply back at 10am this morning. You see, there is really no excuse for moaning that your questions will not be answered.

Yells, why don't you ask them then, or join the TUST and ask them to ask on their members' behalf.
