I agree to the point that it's important to pick a couple of wins, from this next run of fixtures, we just simply can not keep going on about the position our clubs in, there are clubs in this division working on/with less than TUFC is/has. However I do not think this next run of fixtures does point to where we are as a club or will be as season defining as some think.
Its easy to forget the injury's to both Luke Young and Waide Fairhurst, there's the main creator and the player who would have linked the attacking play together missing from the team, a real massive blow when the clubs working off a reported £350k player budget, that's not an excuse to cover up some one with a lack of ability in the coaching side of things, just the truth.
It's easy to forget through no fault of the current board and management, Paul Cox was still checking out trial players a week before the season started, denying the coaching staff the all important pre-season with any form of settled squad, not just to work on fitness, but, also team spirit and work ethic, and developing tactics and game plans , certainly putting behind most other clubs and at a disadvantage, however slight.
To early to press the panic buttons, no idea who or timing, but, I'm certain we'll see some outs and in's as the season unfolds, the squad will get stronger and improve as time goes by. On the subject of yesterdays gate, yes it was disappointingly poor, but last season we saw a number of 1100- 1500 home attendances and still hit a 1900 average, think the club achieve it again in the end.
