They have only just changed their manager I believe.

We will get wins and draws between now and the end of the season, starting with this weekend when we beat Kiddy 3-0.

I'm not worried about the future - I truly believe that KT will find the right buyers who will pump money into the club, allowing the manager, whomever that is, to buy players that will be good at this level and able to hold their own in the league above when we get promoted again.

In fact, I'm rather excited about this new dawn.
Got to say I agree with you here. Not much point in thinking otherwise, because the club has had low-points before and lifted again; who's to say it wont happen again.

New regime in charge of the club, somewhat bigger playing budget, new squad, same manager - who will be replaced by a new manager in November if we are not challenging for promotion - but if the new regime appoints a new manager in three months' time I shall not complain. That's football!

Thea gone.

Hargreaves still here.

KT's influence will be interesting. No doubt useless Baker and Phillips will be there.

If we're playing Conference football next season we'll be lucky.

Hectors last paragraph is about the best summation of this dreadful division and how we are coping with it. Could not agree more.

God, I hope the new owners aren't like you lot. For all CH blusters about budget, even without FL parachutes we should still have a budget that would place us 8-10th in this league. Hardly much of an overachievement to finish in the top five, is it?

Semi pro - ridiculous. If the new owners contemplate that they may as well not bother in the first place.

3 months time............depends on the budget the new board can come up with. If it is competitive by comparison to others in the Conference, meaning top ten, I think we should try and stay professional with a squd of 22.

If we find ourselves outside the top ten budget wise then Semi Pro it must be.

For me, it doesn't really matter. If any prospect of the Football League is gone for good (which I suspect it has), Conference National for the foreseeable future, is as equally unappealing as Conference South - the only benefit of being Conference is that if you have a good season you might get promoted to the Football League but other than that, there is no merit, nothing positive about being in this league, and therefore we may as well be a part-time club playing in the same league as Tiverton.

I hate this division we are in. It is neither the Football League, nor the comforts of regional football. It is this horrible limbo, no-mans land of dullness and to see us struggling in it, is really soul-destroying.

Forest Green will still be in the Conference. They may sneak in the play offs but that's the best they'll be. Three months time - middle of June. We'll have finshed 12th - just got into the top half. Players who have helped to drag this club down will have gone. Rumours will be flying around about players we're about to sign and we sign a striker from somewhere like Accrington called Manbow or something and everyone will be drooling on here that he's going to be a 20 goal a season striker .... ;-) We'll survive in the Conference but I fear we're in it for several seasons this time. For the likes of some of us old gits on here, that final game against Wycombe could well be the last football league game we see at Plainmoor. On that sobering thought, I'll take me tablet and get to bed !!

Basically attendances will be awful.
