A couple of guys at the game told me he had dropped it just before the goal. I think thats what they were talking about though if wrong, I'll stand corrected.

Where did you view the highlights?

Leave the poor bloke alone! He's the best keeper we've got ;-)

Seen the goals. The issue is that if your goalkeeper stays rooted to his line for every corner, then you are basically inviting the opposition to be able to place the ball basically anywhere they like in the six yard box.
Not at fault for the first one. Not solely at fault for the second but its reasonable to expect your keeper to make so attempt to get the ball when its landed two yards out in the centre of your goal (second goal).
Basically he has stayed at home and then floundered about whilst the balls has bounced around in front of him and basically not done anything. He clearly has to shoulder some of the blame for the second goal.
As for the horrendous error he makes at about 5.00 - well what the hell is he doing? - he can clearly get the ball but as usual hesitates. Then almost knocks the defender, still has the ball then some how manages to lose it. Eventuall manages the tip the ball over (a routine enough save) but really it is diabolical goalkeeping.
The other issue is he looks somewhat like a christmas pudding - he just doesn't look fit.

Ball enters the net very close to the middle of the goal, his positioning was poor as usual meaning he had no chance of saving it. Other errors from defenders too by the looks of it.
It wasn't aimed at you, kit. Although I'm surprised anyone can attach blame to Rice looking at that bullet header.

For the second I would like to know why MacDonald and bowman, two of our bigger players, end up being at the far end of the goal a good few yards behind the opposition/play. Didn't follow their men in? Very poor, surprisingly so from macdonald.

No way Rice at fault for first goal, ridiculous to think he was. In fact the 2nd also is 50/50 as you could argue that there were too many bodies in there so I would put the blame more on conceding 4 corners in the last few minutes. To be honest its getting boring this, blaming him for everything.
