Given they waited for him to find another club before letting him go I imagine they have paid enough to top up his Alfreton wages for the next 10 months to give him the same take home pay in the end.

I'm sure it wasn't the full 10 months, but I bet it wasn't far from it. Put yourself in his shoes - he's going to make sure that he's looked after financially (as we all would do), so I'd be surprised if this has cost us anything less than 6 months of whatever his salary was.

But agreed - we are well rid.

Correct Jeff, thank the majority of the Billy Kee £££ to get rid of Hawley!

Either way Torquay are better without him. His career has gone downwards, and that must be a worry to him. We will never know the deal to get rid but I doubt we paid him off the remaining 10 months.

Exactly the sort of standard, I thought the lazy journeyman would end up at.

That's almost the saddest think I've ever encountered. Time to head back to the sense of humour shop.

Hahaha couldn't be more wrong. I don't know who you are, just a contributor on here like the rest of us as far as I'm concerned, so no I didnt notice it was "you", whoever you are. And clever move trying to make out it was in jest, not so sure myself! But.... I don't f ing care anyway so it just bounces off :)

Back on theme, Alfreton, mm mm... 1 league to high for him I think!

He'll score against us now, inevitable.

So true! Lump on Hawley anytime scorer in that game!

Played 6, lost 6, scored 3, conceded 20 and as if that wasn't bad enough, they've now signed Hawley. I really didn't believe any side could be worse than last year's Hyde, but I could yet be proved wrong.

Matt.
