Half baked! Imagine a fully baked Benyon

I also mostly agree with what Branno is saying except by the same token that Luke Young has to be given chance to mature, so must Ashley Yeoman. I'd love to see Elliott get back amongst the goals but it wasn't just last season he failed to find the net - he failed at Bristol Rvrs and again at Southend. Without checking last season's goal scoring details, I think Benyon scored three and so did Yeoman, but who played the most games ........ ?? Benyon may be an option if he stays but I hope Yeoman is given more chances next season to prove himself and also Danny Sullivan - it will be make or break for both of them I feel.

I sort of agree with Branston, I feel that I would rather have Yeoman upfront as opposed to Benyon, however Benyon HAS the ability to score lots of goals as shown by previous seasons. But Branston states that we've been playing high balls into him and to be fair we had been last season and he was just failing to produce because of it. More balls into feet and he could chip in with a few more goals in my opinion...

I am encouraged by what he has to say. nothing is said that is negative about us at all. and where Benyon is mentioned I think he is spot on. play or put the ball in the area where Benyon thrives and he will score Goals. Luke young can thrive at Plainmoor as he matures. feed him on cheese and he will mature faster. let him run with the ball and let him make mistakes for a season. he will learn faster and be a bigger asset to us. we wont get an immediate success story at Torqauy we need to be patient and let them gel for a season and then be better placed to go full tilt. If it comes off in the first season i will be surprised but pleased. but i dont want instant success and then find we go back down the following season.
Maybe we could sing Coles. he was a decent defender at Rovers. I still couldnt understand why Bristol City let his go in the first place.
and hopefully we will see an impact shortly from Briscoe. who has already scored. will he bag any tonight against what is surely a vastly supperior team in Yeovil.. That will be a decent test for us. All be it only a freindly but it will help prepare our lads for the coming season.
