I see on the official site Hargreaves has invited a couple players for pre season after they impressed in a trial game. No names mentioned though be interesting to see who they were. One was a winger the other a striker.

Trouble is - if a League club comes calling then we won't get a sniff. We do not have much financial power either but a goal scorer is an essential.

personally would like Midson and think he could be an excellent pairing for Yeoman but remain only hopeful rather than confident we can pick him or someone of his ilk up.

Seems to be a lot of decent strikers being released this season. The likes of Paul Benson (headed for Luton no doubt), Jon Shaw ( ex Gateshead, Halifax) Jamie Cureton and Jack Midson would all score goals at that level you would hope ... and I see that Wycombe have finally announced their retained list and they are getting rid of Jo Kuffour, Dean Morgan and Jon Paul Pittman who likewise could do pretty well in the Conference.

Let's hope we can pick up 1 or 2 of these guys .....

We might as well be talking about the job that could be done by Sergio Ramos, for all the chance we have of actually seeing it come to fruition.

Matt.

Benyon & Rendell were very close mates so I would not be too surprised if Rendell returned to Plainmoor.

Neither have looked very comfortable on the left side when they've played there. Surely it cant be that difficult to find someone that looks a natural on the left?

Still don't think he would come back to be honest, even though I would love him too.

Personally, I would offer the armband to Krystian Pearce for next season in the hope that he stays with us, of course.

Really surprised by that as I thought he was doing well there and, as he was always here, had become a fans favourite.

I wouldn't imagine he would have too much trouble finding another club, certainly at League 2 level, in that area.

Although he hails from Kingsbridge and is a PAFC supporter I cannot see him going there as his wife is a Bolton lass and they were desperate to return to that area when he left us. By the sounds of it he has settled well in the area and that is where he will stay I reckon.
