Not having a pop at here Andy, but I don't understand why, did Northampton have significantly more money , than us, or other teams in league 2, according to the information re-posted by Gulliball Northampton's wage budget was £200k more than ours and 8th equal in league 2, ok £200k is a lot of money, however to a point it would only pay the wages of 2 top quality players at this level.
On the flip side our wage budget seems to have been more than 50 % greater than Accrington's they've stayed in the league we haven't, so your right money isn't everything, it's how you use it.
Ok Northampton have got their fair share of openly arrogant fans, but hey, every club has them, even us during our brief periods of success. Northampton had been in the bottom 2 since September, they were a long way adrift , they were in a bigger mess than we were, the thing is, as a club they identified what the problems were, and what was needed to do to fix them.
Northampton have recognised the importance of retaining their league status and have gone way past that extra mile to stay up, where as we've appeared to take our FL status for granted, if the Cobblers survive next week, I'm not going to be jealous, not going wish bad things upon them, just going to say fair play and congratulate that club for doing all the things that we didn't do.
