Totally agree. After the shower we have had to put up this season some kind of recognition for our loyalty would have been nice. Have been a season ticket holder for a number of years now, but increasingly starting to feel like I'm being treated as a cash cow.

I'm still Torquay till I die but some of the love has been lost this season. Can't put my finger on it but I know others feel the same way. If us diehards are starting to feel like that then god knows what it is like for those that only attend a few games a season.

If the worst happens this season then I honestly feel the damage will take a long time to repair.

To be fair I think the club is caught between a rock and a hard place on admission prices for next season, personally in freezing season ticket/admission prices the club have got this right, there's no guarantee that a price reduction would have changed anything regards number who will renew their season tickets and those who will pay on the gate.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for those who will be renewing their season tickets regardless next season, after 8 years I will not be renewing mine, I would not have renewed my season ticket even if the price had been dropped to £199 or even less, TUFC will always be my club and I will continue to support it as and when, right now I would bore anyone with 10 paragraphs, in brief, just being honest there is a lot about the club I do not like at the moment, I am not going part with any of my hard earned wedge for a season ticket, just to up at Plainmoor to continue to get wound up, angry even, at watching a dogs muck football team, representing what is currently in my view a clusterfork of a football club.

I too have been a season ticket holder for many years, but am seriously considering the personal benefit of renewing at today's prices.

Given the quality/style of football that is being delivered by our "messiah" (albeit with limited resources), which does not show any signs of sustained improvement in training ground tactics to on field results, I fear for our competitiveness in the Conference. Therefore, I will choose the games I want to watch and use Gulls Player to listen to all the others. If I am confident that matters on/off the pitch are improving and if the club offers the half season ticket as it has done in previous years I would think about taking that option.

I am not expecting us to smash every team we are going to play in the conference off the park, but I want to see good reason to drive the 70/75 mile round trip to be "entertained".

I know there will be calls of not being "a true fan" etc,etc., I am personally comfortable that my contribution to the club as a "true fan" has been proven over the last 35 years+ and this is not a knee jerk reaction.

I think they announced the season ticket prices about a similar time last year.
Personally I will be renewing early as will the two other ST holders I go with-not with any expectations that I will be watching league two football next season though,I'm afraid.My son probably won't be renewing as he will be 19 next season and its a big jump in price for him.If we make a real fight of it in next few games I think it will make a difference to supporters renewing for next season,but if we go down with a whimper then a lot of fans will be seriously questioning whether they want to shell-out the same as they did this season, for a Conference season-ticket.

Yea I've already decided not to bother renewing my ST for next year.

I'll go to occasional games but am more likely to go to watch Bristol City if I fancy a live game. I'll couple that with games around the south while I'm working away.

The prices can't go too low but for me the decision not to renew is nothing to do with the price. I'm just disillusioned by this seasons inept performance.

I'm sure the club have been forced to do this from a financial perspective but if we are a conference club then a price freeze would be unacceptable IMO. Not only will we be playing in a lower league but we will also be a non league side so it's not quite the same as dropping from league 1 to league 2 for example.

I think it is imperative for the club to reduce ticket prices this summer and possibly try and make savings in other areas but even many die hards will be thinking they are taking the piss.

Perhaps if the club kept the same ticket prices should one attend a game here and there but greatly reduced the cost of a season ticket should it be bought up front then i think that would be fair. The season ticket holder gets rewarded, made to feel valued and maybe even gets value for money and the club still get a bit of cash upfront. Those making the decision to go on the odd matchday can pay the prices they are now and i think that would be a fair compromise. I'm not sure how viable it is however but it's better than nothing.

Just my opinion.

Don't care what price the season tickets prices are,they can shove it where the sun don't shine,sales will drop from a just over a 1,000 this season to about 400ish next season,had one for the last 10 years even for the conference days, not that bothered anymore, will just pick a few game to go to next season in the conference,so not worth getting one :no:

Personally, given the almost certainty that we WILL be playing in the Conference Premier next season I think the club have got their pricing wrong.

Quite simply, it is too much to pay for NON LEAGUE football and I think they should have a serious rethink .... of course, it won't happen ... but I suspect that the reality is that, at THOSE prices, we will really struggle to get more than a few hundred taking up their "offer".
