When will we be mathematically relegated?

The mathematical Law of Probabilty suggest that we already are!

Agreed, Marquis was the one out of the 350 strikers we've tried who would have made the difference, no doubt he wouldn't have been a free loan, however wonder what the cost of his loan against the lost League income would have been.

Don't think it matters one jot when, no point speculating either, we beat Rochdale who'd have predicted that, so who knows when. I do not want to be disrespectful to all you posters and of course Torquay players but why in heavens sake would you think that the team should all of a sudden win three or four games on the trot when all season they have had trouble winning one game,sure we can get a result where you would think we would not,always happens,but following Torquay you know that one great result is normally followed by a great dissapointment ,yesterday for example.I would love for us to stay in the football league,to do that we need the players to up their game by twenty percent,cut out all the mistakes,get a good rub of the green and hope that all the other teams play crap for the rest of the season,frankly I am more likely to find Lord Lucan riding red run in the grand national.

Lets be real here, lets say some how out of no where we win on Tuesday night with northampton and Exeter both losing we are then 3 points off the drop. Lets say we mirror Exeters and Northamptons results to the Exeter, we will possibly still have a chance. Yes we were shit, yes we looked hopeless, but so are the other teams around us and a win on Tuesday could be it.

It will either get worse and we'll be slaughtered in most of our remaining games, or things will improve and we'll be relegated in our final game of the season..

It's all ifs and buts. I didn't think we would beat Rochdale , bury or indeed Portsmouth away but we did. Still fancy something at York . But your right getting related at Exeter would be unthinkable.

Nobody thought we'd get points from Rochdale at home but we beat them and they're now top. This season has been impossible to predict. Take Exeter's result yesterday. Who honestly saw that coming? Fleetwood have won more away games than any other team and were playing a side in freefall who hadn't won at home since October.

So who's to say we will lose our next three? I'm not saying we'll win them all but you can't write us off completely. Everybody did that last weekend after we lost to Cheltenham and then changed their tune when we beat Bury. If we win at York (big if but as Exeter's result yesterday highlights not impossible) then we'll all go back to discussing the possibility of pulling off the great escape.

I cannot see us getting points from the next three games - York (a), Southend (a), Scunthorpe (h).

Therefore, we will probably be even further adrift by the first weekend of April than we are now. Even if we were to get something at Bristol Rovers and then v Dagenham, it is likely that the gap will still be at least 6 points.

Therefore, our last match before a six point gap would be impossible to close, is the away game at Exeter.

I have had a feeling for a while that this will be the case, but if we haven't been before, I think we will be relegated when we (probably lose) at Exeter. It is almost in the stars for TUFC, that losing to them would condemn us. I am in too minds about attending that game. I do not want to be at St James Park on the day we go down but on the other hand, it may well be the last (ever?) league derby I get to see.

I almost hope we are already down by then, so at least we can go there with nothing to lose.
