I cannot see us getting points from the next three games - York (a), Southend (a), Scunthorpe (h).
Therefore, we will probably be even further adrift by the first weekend of April than we are now. Even if we were to get something at Bristol Rovers and then v Dagenham, it is likely that the gap will still be at least 6 points.
Therefore, our last match before a six point gap would be impossible to close, is the away game at Exeter.
I have had a feeling for a while that this will be the case, but if we haven't been before, I think we will be relegated when we (probably lose) at Exeter. It is almost in the stars for TUFC, that losing to them would condemn us. I am in too minds about attending that game. I do not want to be at St James Park on the day we go down but on the other hand, it may well be the last (ever?) league derby I get to see.
I almost hope we are already down by then, so at least we can go there with nothing to lose.
