His set piece delivery has been very good through.

As much as it sounds like it, I'm not taking the piss. Yeoman and Craig are never going to excel when they're both being played totally out of position, on completely unmanageable surfaces and with players who simply don't do what a pro will be used to. Neither of them train with the Dorch squad, so they play blind having driven down on the day of the game. Add to this the idea that neither of them especially want to get injured by a Conference south level challenge and of course they look terrible.

Nothing against Dorch, I had fun there 10 days ago with some jolly friendly people, but the football was very, very poor and you could stick Ronaldo out there and he'd look like a park player.

Craig had an absolutely dreadful start, but has slowly come into the game. Playing in a very deep, right-of-central midfield role, he was initially weak in the tackle and bypassed easily. But as the game settled, he's been much tidier in possession without ever really imposing himself on the game. The Hollywood passes are gone, but he's done the basics ok. His corners are outstanding to be fair, still got devestating pace and whip on them. He's done ok, but if he was to be our saviour I'd have wanted to see more.

Yeoman is having a shocker. Out on the right wing, where the pitch resembles Paignton beach, he's had about 4 touches. Twice he's been muscled off it, and one of the touches was to nearly score a spectacular own goal.

Neither has shown me anything to suggest they could walk back into our team.

On a side note, what a dreadful game of football. Bearing in mind Stortford are realistic Conf South playoff contenders, we could be playing here for real next season. The football is abysmal - surely we haven't sunk to this level - have we?
