Gilbertissimus!

by wivelgull » 04 Nov 2013, 19:26

I hope GILBERT will be performing on Saturday. I have had my ups and downs with various Gilbertae but the present incarnations have been up to scratch, especially when performing 'The Bird's the Word' - but if only we could have a BRIAN with him while he's doing it.

Mr. Chunkygull is quite right; in fact, I am very pleased with his idea of introducing 'The Gilbert' to Plainmoor. In fact, Mr. Chunkygull is now an honorary member of The Old Codgers Club.

its the sort of thing mascots are supposed to do. its better than him plodding about doing sod all. at least he has his own little party piece.

the only reason i suggested he do it in the first place was a bit of a laugh and to give him something to do.

the song goes with him because he is a bird and seeing the family guy dance made me think of it as something gilbert could do for a change. its meant to be a bit of silliness, thats the point. :|

This Gilbert dancing before the game is quite simply embarrassing.

Today's GILBERT was clearly inexperienced and a bit shy, but he danced 'The Gilbert' quite well. However, we do need a permanent GILBERT.

Good idea.

You wouldn't need to dress up either ;o)

As Mr. Chunkygull says, it is very tempting. However, at 71, I'm probably a bit too old for it. Send for OneCanLasher! He's the only one who can save us now!

More GILBERT (in his new guise) tomorrow, please; after all, that's the only thing we'll have to cheer us up.
