Well, Andy, I'm quite happy to give the German and Austrian sausages a chance; my experience of mass-produced British ones, however, is mixed. The best (and best value) sausages I've had in the past have been made by individual artisan craftsmen, sold in their small shops, though there are also a very few factory-produced items which I've enjoyed over the years. For example, my favourite black pudding was manufactured by Bowyers, but I can't find it in South Devon shops these days.

Which leads me to ask, why do so many people insist on cooking/heating black pudding? It's already cooked when you buy it, and it's best eaten cold as it is. And why does Torbay Council insist on black pudding, which is pre-cooked, being put with uncooked meats in the butchers' shops. This is stupid and dangerous. Other local authorities tell butchers to put it with cooked meats, as it should be. The next time I get food poisoning after eating black pudding, I shall sue Torbay Council, not the butcher! Any butchers out there who could comment..?

And please, avoid anything that makes you fart. I get enough of that at home..

I know exactly what goes into them that's why I recommended the German ones. A few miles from me is a nice Austrian gentleman from Mayrhofen who runs the Tiroler Stuberl in Bakewell. He sells imported Austrian sausages and other Austrian produce in his Austrian coffee shop / café. I recommend it if you are ever in the area.

Fish finger sandwiches with an eclectic assortment of accompanying sauces?

Sell Booze under/behind the away end. Away fans like a drink - lets make some money out of them.

Also, whilst the Bench is undeniably a great stand I find it crazy that dedicated catering and toilet facilities were not incorporated into the design. I bet many fans in there can't be arsed to walk to the shared one by the family stand.

Maybe people could walk around the stands at half time selling hot dogs like in the U S of A?

Anyway, what about a curry?

Or cottage pies with a fork?

Please don't tell me we have caterers and we are paying for the privilege?!!

Idea 1: A jar of very tasty thick german hotdog sausages (bockwurst to you and I) and a 6 pack of very light and fluffy bread finger rolls can be bought at Aldi for less than £1.50. Buy a sh*tload of these and knock them out at £2.50 - £3. Maximum profit is more than £16.50 for just 6 and we don't have to pay anyone other than someone to go and get them and someone to sell them on a matchday.

Likewise things like pies and stuff.

I used to go to a cash and carry for bulk items but places like Aldi are actually a lot cheaper and often better quality.

If we are paying for catering then someone needs their heads looking at i'm afraid.

Haha. Thats a good one. I bet it would flow more freely than our football.

I was impressed up at Burton by the faggots. Oops I shouldn't mention that name here should I. I might get pulled by stewards

Oh sod it. Faggots Chips and peas for me.

'For those who didn't attend at Burton. I had my faggots and Chips when Lanky Gull got pulled for shouting at the goalkeeper he was a F&*^%t
The fans had a good deal of fun at the expense of Lanky and the stewards.

If you've never bought any food from Plainmoor, how do you know what it's like?

Matt.

I went here once season before last as they had a money off coupon on the back of a 50/50 ticket I bought and also it was round the corner from where my B&B was. What's all the fuss about?

I'm not coeliac like you Scott so if the fancy takes I can have something gluten-laden. It does mean I feel instantly sluggish but there's nothing new there! :)

I follow a gluten free diet generally because it makes me feel a lot better and I'm not cramming myself ( my entire self from neurotransmitters to the bone matrix - from head to toe) full of modified sticky gluey proteins that are 100% indigestible to the human body. Why eat something that makes us feel crappy all round and has a detrimental effect on our health? We drink alcohol but we don't drink everyday. People eat gluten everyday and even if they don't medically need to avoid it they are still doing untold damage to their whole body.
