Bang on, Wivel.

Matt.

Showed some nice touches today. Clearly not match fit, but equally clearly ahead of most of the rest of the team in terms of ability.

Hmmm, thought he looked what he is today, a reserve/youth player from a Championship side. Nothing against the lad either but he did look out of his depth as the game wore on. I suspect that once Moz is ready to start and Harding on his way back, we wont extend his loan. He will improve with pitch time though and looks like he will make it as a pro.

Hopefully, Mozika will get fitter and stay fit because his cameo today hinted at promising things. A big bloke as well. When Harding is fit, we have some height in midfield - which Knill hinted at on the radio - but whether there would be a trio of Harding, Mansell, Mozika or if McCourt is here longer term, then I'm not sure who would miss out.

Mozika had only a short time on the pitch did ok but was blowing out his a-- the last few minutes.

Totally agree, he looked very useful, with some games behind, think he's cert to start.

Mozika looked very good in his short time on the pitch today. When fit, he shouldn't have too many problems getting into the side.

Didnt think he exactly looked unfit today. He looked pretty useful to be honest. Give him a couple more starts from the bench at most I would say, and play him alongside Manse who looked good today.

On the bench again for today.

Why don't we send Mozika on loan to Bideford for a month to get some matchtime.

I don't think anyone is doing that, Andy. Most are pointing out that we have more than our fair share of players out injured and when AK has a full squad to pick from things we should have a team more than capable of pulling away from the relegation zone.

Of course there are no guarantees, but then it isn't yet a certainty we'll go down even if none of them make a return.

What happens if Mozika flops then? Anyone thought about that? Apparently he will come in and suddenly our midfield will be galvanised leaving Knills last desperate throw of the dice in ruins.

It's a bit sad some are pinning our revival hopes on one guy who is not yet near the level we want him to be at.

Again it is undue pressure on the lad I feel.

if it was 17 minutes then he would have been on the same conctract as Leroy was a few years ago. Oh no. that's the long term one isn't it. Leroy was short term wasn't he. 10 minutes.!

Yes - according to the Herald Express, it is a pay-as-you-play contract. This raises a question which no doubt someone on the Forum will be able to answer - does he actually have to play to get paid, or simply be in the squad to get paid? I think most of us were surprised to see he was named as a substitute on Tuesday night as we have been led to believe he is at least a couple of weeks away from match fitness. If Knill included him as a sub simply so that he would be paid, I would suggest that's a dodgy practice at least. If he's named as sub again on Saturday and doesn't play for at least half an hour, I will become very suspicious ....... :(
