The issue is that the whole spine of the team is in disarray at the moment. Our first choice keeper is long term injured. Our two first choice centre halves seem likely to be missing long term.
Central midfield is not creative, and our strikers are not scoring goals.
Those problems seem catastrophic in my view and it is difficult to see how they can be addressed. Its probably no wonder we are where we are in terms of league position.
We struggled last year but were stronger through the middle really - Poke,Saah and Downes, Howe and Jarvis.
To me it is very worrying at present.

A very measured assessment, I'd say. It's not good, for sure, but we've had some bloody bad luck, it has to be said.

10 games in. How worried should we be?

Well, ten games into the season and we're lying just a point above the relegation zone. I've always said that we can't judge ourselves until we've played ten games. Well, to say I'm disappointed with our start is an understatement. At the start of the season I thought we would be a mid table side, certainly not pushing for a play off spot, but certainly better than where we are now.

Having seen two games, (Wimbledon & Northampton) I have had to rely on the poor Gullsplayer service, however having seen out second half performance at AC Northampton, this team has lots of potential to do much better than what we are currently doing.

So what are your thoughts on our start to the season? Should we be worried or will we soon be pushing on onwards up the table?
