Happy, did you hear that the Carlton shut in 2011 or 2012? Very sad news, but apprently the Wednesday night Carlton craze tailed off - it was sold out nearly every week when I was there 2007-2010. Got some great memories of the fishbowls, fastinis and stiff 'uns.
I will be there on Saturday, I think it's probably the only away game I will be able to do, down and back on the train in one day. Leaving about 7.30am and getting back to Aberdeen at nearly midnight. Funny how the fixtures have worked out, but at least I can now say I have been to consecutive league away games.
I once walked to their old ground, just to say I had walked to an away game. Think it was about 3-5 miles from where I was living in town at the time. Their pie, chips and gravy was definitely the best food I have eaten at a football game.
