Alas the program's area has been widened to include South and West as well as just the South West (ish). That was done to keep the cost down (not that it exactly looked Gucci) by having less versions to make and broadcast.

Thought the piece on us was fairly decent, although the caption of Martin Ling that said 'archive footage' wasn't joking given that he had Olejnik in goal. Agree it is a pretty poor programme though, the inclusion of Brighton and Crawley does make a mockery of the talk of 'our region'.

Late Kick Off

just watched that awful programme on the BBC regarding our local teams .. Im which Brighton and Crawley are apparently local .. And we had a short 3/4 minute section in which Alan Knill basically said that he's sticking around for a "holiday" and going to wait for the phone to ring .. I just have this feeling that he thinks he will be our Gaffer next season and I hope he is to be honest, Simon Baker confirmed that talks with ML will be this week and Benyon basically gave out a "come and get me" plea to the future manager by saying that everyone knows how he feels about Torquay and he's grateful for the chance when other managers hadn't played him .. If ML IS the manager next season then I can't see Elliot staying under a 4-5-1 system .. Anyway this isn't a thread for managerial debate like the others, I was just glad to see we had more than 9 seconds on LKO this week.
