Love of the club, locality, knowledge of the division, fresh ideas, burning passion for the game. As for the falling out with people, I think that's much more common in football than we realise. We're hardly dealing with Mensa candidates here and generally clumping together a group of young lads with too much ego and not enough vocabulary is a recipe for disaster in terms of group dynamic.
Dave, could we as a club combine increased solvency with on field progression? It seems to be the fashion these days that those two things are mutually exclusive. Clubs either pay the piper and stay where they are, or they **** over all and sundry and shoot up to giddy new heights? Obviously I'm sure you're not suggesting we'll be on the Forbes Fortune 100 or in the Premier League any time soon...
