We were unbeaten in four games recently, and then lost..

I stand corrected Jerry. I had excluded Barnet in my calculations. Still pretty hairy though especially as Barnet are unbeaten in 4 games.

We are not likely to win any now Joss has gone though.

You're wrong there Sesimbra. If we win all of our games we are guaranteed survival.

In your calculations you failed to take into account that one of those wins would be against Barnet.

i know that the gargs and the shots have game in hand, but they need to win it.

Maybe you have done the maths and this is correct, but I thought that others in and around the relegation zone had to play each other and therefore one (or both) were bound to drop points.

Coley, 2 wins WILL be enough in my opinion but there's no way we're going to achieve that, especially not now with Labadie being recalled. It's just too much faffing around with the team at such a late stage now to try and fit someone else in and hope for it to be successful. MacDonald was at fault for both the Northampton goal and the one that was disallowed when he let their players have free unmarked headers in the middle of the area. Downes should have been picked for that gamebut with hindsight that is easy to say. We have hindsight now and Downes SHOULD be picked for the rest of the season. Angus has been superb when needed and is one for the future but he cost us a point on friday.

Oh and i've got the quacks today mate as starting to get a man flu type thingy to accompany my glandular virusy thingy so i definately WON'T be able to get to Gillingham on saturday so i won't be able to meet up. Probably just as well for you! :~D I reckon there will only be 16 Gulls fans there anyway as i'll have given all them who were at Northampton the lurgy and they'll all be in bed ill!! :)

7 years ago we - as the bottom team - got a win at champions elect, Carlisle. But then Ian Atkins had galvanised a poor team to play beyond their capabilities. Sadly, Alan Knill has not had the same effect on a team that - on paper - is much better than the one that stayed up in 2006. However, there are not players in this team who can play 'above themselves' but instead think they are better than they are and therefore we end up with the lamest of performances such as the one v Bradford.
