Hopefully Saturday was just a blip on the back of some good form prior to the Tranmere defeat.

If we needed support we need it at this game and get behind the players.

If for no other reason get to p!ainmoor tomorrow to show your appreciation of Ian Twitchin & give him a bloody good send off by observing with respect & gratitude & maybe if the mood allows ,applause ,loud applause. Whatever the club has organised join in with 100% commitment. Twitch was (is) one of our own , this has left a bloody great hole in my heart , come on you yellows.

I echo that; if for no other reason get along and join in with your contribution to a genuine legend; one who absolutely loved playing for his one and only professional club and who was never really well remunerated for it nor particularly accorded the respect he deserved from them in return afterwards.

Show Ian's family that the supporters have more class than the club displayed in those years after he departed when they hardly acknowledged his existence and certainly his immense part in the history of the club.

I'll be there, first time for a while, supporting the team and remembering a player I watched after my dad and granddad started taking me to Plainmoor in the early 70s. C'mon United!

Before my time but would love have been there tonight to show respect to a player which from what I understand was a great player and also a great fan.
Sure the applause will be great

I'll go for a draw. Thus:

Torquay United (0) 0
Gateshead (0) 0

Too cold for a big crowd, thus: 1398.

Hope I am wrong but 1-1 draw, a game we need to win so probably wont
Hope Ian Twitchin gets more applause if its that and not a minutes silence than the 87 great escape team,
not sure I go along with all this celebrating avoiding relegation, bit embarrassing really, hope we dont do
one for Nicholsons teams in another 30 years though doubt I will be here to worry about it

Just on a different thing Netflix are at the ground now filming and Paul Dobson is there also for tonights game. Spoken to people on phone at Herald express and also the producer from topic studios today as i have provided some material. It is happening. From what I've been told they are making this a big deal and the story from that game , the build up , the actual game sounds incredible.

It's a two bobble hat night. Hoping to see a resounding home win, can't see Gateshead coping with a bitterly cold Devon night. Torquay to win 2-0, both goals from Ruairi Keating scoring both.
