[OS] Gerring Backing The Gulls

Post by TorquayFans.com »

Former United defender Ben Gerring has given his former club a boost by donating a superb match package for four, which will be raffled to aid the club’s fundraising efforts. Former Gull Gerring enjoyed a two-season spell at Plainmoor, and was a key member of the squad that secured back-to-back ‘Great Escapes’ under Kevin Nicholson. Although he went on to represent United’s rivals Woking with distinction after leaving Torquay, his local club remains close to his heart, and after hearing of The Gulls’ recent plight, Ben stepped forward to donate an excellent prize to be raffled, with one lucky member of the Yellow Army  will be able to enjoy a superb match package for four at one of our forthcoming home matches, with each guest enjoying a superb three-course meal in our restaurant, whilst enjoying hospitality in the comfort of one of Executive Boxes. Ben’s local links have continued, with his business, Torquay Wheel Repair being a family-run local refurbishment centre based here in Torquay, specialising in diamond cut alloy wheel repairs. To find out more, check out their website HERE. Everyone at Plainmoor would like to thank Ben for supporting the Club at this time – once a Gull, forever a Gull, Ben!   How To Purchase A Ticket As with all donations made directly to the Club, all funds raised will ensure United’s essential operating costs are met, and to help the Club continue to function as a professional football club. Tickets are priced at £2 each and are available to purchase online HERE, with the raffle closing at 4pm on Thursday 21st March. Please note that the raffle is done electronically, so no physical raffle ticket will be issued, you will receive an electronic receipt which will be your proof of purchase.   Good Luck, Yellow Army!!The post Gerring Backing The Gulls first appeared on Torquay United.
