The club needs daily income - not a few Saturdays and Tuesdays during the year, IF it could be affordable and good quality I would switch it

When we play Taunton Away on Tuesday week 16th April Taunton will be playing their 7th Match in 16 days.

We will be playing our 5th Match in 16 days. Also we will want to avenge our shocking Home Loss to Taunton on 12 March 0-3.

If you do your homework and it's for the community it may be possible with grants. Even the premier league are funding them as here. We need people with a can do attitude at Torquay.

Last week saw the official opening of a new 3G pitch at Chichester City’s Oaklands Park, thanks to a £729,000 grant from the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation.

In addition to the funding from the Foundation, the remaining project value was provided by £150k from the Premier League Stadium Fund via the Club Development Fund, £30k from Chichester City (CCFC) and £300k from Chichester District Council.

I live 20 miles away from Chichester and have been aware of this project for a while. It is another example of a club making money, while supporting local communities. A family member is directly involved in the women's side.

How many of them we're away fans I wonder.
If the rain keeps up surely it would make financial sense for both Taunton and us to play their home game against us at Plainmoor.

By then the result may well be academic. And seeing as they walloped us 3-0 at our place a couple of weeks ago I'm not sure where the advantage is.

Unfair and advantage is the watch words for the people who supposedly run this league, yes ,we quite rightly got docked ten points, however taunton, truro and eastbourne are on their final knockings financially but just havent declared it and are desperately trying to make the end of the season where the sanctions are far less than us having to declare within the season, besides the last thing the national needs is more than one club getting docked points as it looks bad on their management or lack of it, We are being put at a serious disadvantage through no fault of our own by having to play matches within 48 hours of our last because Truro and taunton have unfit pitches, Add into that equation that eastbourne , taunton and truro have added to their squads for the run in, something we are not allowed to do.

I take it our tickets from the long-ago original away game are still valid??? I have tried calling Taunton but no reply. Anyone?

Yellow6 on the Taunton Town FC Website under NEWS the Club say that "Tickets bought for a previous date will be honoured" but it concerns a different match not the Torquay Match.

Because of numerous postponements this seems only fair but best to check if you can get an answer.
