A lot of players looked nervy today with misplaced passes and poor decision making all around. Not sure any are really deserving of a top 5 players list.

Jarvis, always battling, always being fouled, he must be incredibly frustrated when he produces moments of quality or wins the ball back, only for the next player to give it away cheaply. One difficult chance, if only it had gone in.

Moxley, clever player, solid, although he too was hurried at times into hoofing the ball.

Lapdlie, like Jarvis made lung busting runs, tackled the player, then the next Torquay player gives the ball away cheaply and all his good work is undone. Uncharacteristicly gave the ball away a few times though and should he have done better with that header?

Tomlinson, tried his best in a re arranged defense.

Moxey - dependable in defence
Halstead - great save from the penalty kept us in it
Lapslie - gave his all, all over the park
Tomlinson - best I've seen him play
Jarvis - but should have scored
Phil

Another marathon beckons!

Halstead Not just for that penalty save but another dependable performance. Already way out in front for player of the season.

Laps, A 100% effort throughout - again.

Moxey. Pure Class.

No one else on the radar I am afraid.

I usually get grief and abuse for speaking the truth, just say it as it is. Good to know you agree, I am afraid the whole club is a shambles at the moment.

Culmstockgull, if you are in the Gulls nest by 1pm next Saturday, I will buy you a pint.

Dean Moxey. Always a pleasure to watch such a shame we are so poor all over the pitch.

Mark Halstead. Superb penalty save he is going to have a very busy season if we do get a very good center back in from somewhere soon.

Tom Lapslie. Shows up the work rate of some of the younger players.

Ollie Tomlinson. I feel he is improving and is much more alert and will only get better. Very committed.

Jarvis worked hard but we are failing every game to play to his strengths.

I agree with North Curry House selection below but would also add Tomlinson for a solid display.
