United make the short journey to Huish Park on Sunday for their first Match of 2022 in the knowledge that leading scorer Armani Little will miss the game having clocked up 5 yellow cards.

Yeovil will be without goalie Grant Smith and they will be desperate to avenge their 3-0 defeat at Plainmoor on Boxing Day.

Yeovil have only scored 9 goals at Home in the League in 10 games but have a great defence conceding just 9.

A very tight game and so hard to predict the result. Hoping for a point but my gut feeling is we will lose by the odd goal.

Having predicted we will lose we are nailed on to surprise everyone and win 3 massive points!!

How can that be, we signed him on one months loan on the 9th December?

The Exeter City OS says he joined us on 9 Dec on a one month loan until Jan 8th.

However I think most loans include a recall clause which I guess could be used because of Covid.

He isn’t in the squad for City today. But they play again on Tuesday, so I guess it is possible. I can’t find any reference to this anywhere apart from one post above.

Devon Live reported on 31st Dec that 13 Exeter players had reported a positive Covid test in the past fortnight.

City at Sutton today with a bench of 6 players.

Devon live reported that he had been recalled, so must be true!!!! Although I was also told by a city supporter that he had. He isn’t in today’s Exeter squad at Sutton so who knows!!!
I hope he hasn’t as he is just starting to show his worth

It was bad business letting Jake Andrews go he was better than Sparkes.

Sparkes was one of the few players to shine at Tonbridge, and scored against Yeovil, showing he was improving with game time. Perhaps, one for the future?

Sparkes is a cut above, fairly comfortably a better player than JA

The main thing this game will need is a strong ref to get a grip of the game

Yeovils tactics on Boxing Day wasn't football, they fouled continually and fully deserved more bookings

Given what happened i fully expect the same from them especially at home

No little due to 5 bookings, maybe time for Felix to shine?

I hope you are wrong but suspect you may be right. Lapslie is likely to be targeted and the whole team will have to be disciplined as well as assertive to avoid defeat.

Am I the only one that can see a problem here? We’re going to have over 1000 people queueing for tickets at approximately the same time? Why couldn’t we have the e-ticketing system like we do at TUFC? TQ1 is hardly the hub of cutting edge technology is it?
Really hoping I’ve got this wrong somehow.
