Legends of the Buckle Era

Post by happytorq »

We all know what happened on that great day at Wembley on 17th May 2009, the day we returned to the 'promised land'. But, do we know what happened behind the scenes to get us there? Or what happened during the following season in the Football League?

'Legends Of The Buckle Era' is your chance to hear those stories and more from the people who were there.

Broadcast live from 7pm on Friday April 9th 2021, join Helen Chamberlain and five very special guests for an evening of fun, laughs and memories.

We'll be revealing our guests on a daily basis this week! Be sure to follow the hashtag #LOTBE on Twitter and elsewhere to keep up to date.

Tickets are £10, and all the money raised will go to charities nominated by our guests. Sign up in March for the chance to ask a question that may be featured in the show.

This is a great chance to revisit our promotion season from the point of view of those who were part of it.

Get your tickets now!!

Remember traveling from Norway to London for this game. What an amazing day that was. When Sills rose to the heavens for that second goal. Wow!!

Will definitely try to attend this one.

Crickey, that is a better line up than we have fielded since Christmas.

And yet Paul Buckle wasn't massively popular on the Popside at the time - in fact he came in for a fair amount of stick at the matches I attended!

Mr. budegull is right, yet not half as much stick as he got at BRFC.
