After the disappointment of last Saturday, I’m hoping for a monumental response. In my opinion Wokings run in the fa cup last season gave us the advantage of having points on the board compared to games in hand, so maybe losing last Saturday isnt a bad thing especially when you’ve won 7 out of 8 league games previously. From a personal prospective I’m going to this game with 3 work colleagues from Manchester so I’m hoping for 3 points more than ever. With the other top 4 each playing difficult games Saturday, it is possible we could be top of the league. In Gary Johnson we trust COYY. 2-0 Torquay

I occasionally used to take friends to Plainmoor. After years of enthusiasm I usually chose a match which turned into a damp squib - they never came again.

I impressed my girlfriend by taking her to her first live match - the 1-8 tonking by Scunthorpe in 1995.

We've been married for 23 years

I notice you have 7 players on loan. Do you normally have that many?

We only had 5 a couple of weeks ago...

of the 7, two are out injured. (Opi Edwards and Connor L-E)
Both of those two are only on loan until January, as are three others (Medford-Smith, Cundy and Janneh). We have 3 players on loan for the season, I believe.

Depending on how the injuries progress, both of those first two could go back to Bristol City, as could Janneh (who's expected to go out on loan to a league club). I wouldn't be surprised to see Cundy stay for the season, however.

We have a pretty cosy relationship with Bristol City right now - to be expected as their manager is our manager's son - so the loans we have are mostly through that. We could conveivably just have 2 loans after january, though.

Conor will be here after January. That’s virtually done. He wants to stay here the season.

Maybe we should go down that road. We have signed our first one. He is likely to play on Saturday.

What's the reason for your struggle this season ?
Guess manager Doswell was a big loss ?

I am looking forward to today's game in dry sunny conditions. Very little wind for a change.

No easy games in this League and Sutton will be desperate to avoid defeat.

No Jake Andrews so I suspect no changes from last week but it will be interesting to see if Gary gives Olaf a chance off the bench.

If we play our best 3-1 to United. We could be top tonight. Make sure you get to Plainmoor. No weather excuses today!

COYY.
