It looked like they would be understrength but from looking like we would have a strong line up as usual we are understrength. Lapslie manages two games before getting injured as usual.

Reckon we will get hammered today.
this was a dumb post even before the final whistle, must have been speaking to Dawlish too much!

not sure how we could have improved the line up without Little (suspended) Armstrong (on the bench due to a recent lack of games) Sparkes (isolating) and Lapslie (injured) dont really see how its "diabolically weak" he cant choose those players!

A great win and again fantastic character shown

big few days ahead, can we keep Armstrong? thats surely the priority!

Exactly at the half way mark 30 pts from 22
It's a tough ask but 40 pts or so from the next 22 should see us in the play offs.
Really need to follow up yesterday with 3 points on Saturday, which will take 3 off 5th placed Dagenham . Great effort from Gary and the boys in the last 5 games and more to get our season back on track .

Dan Holman's goal must be a favourite to win goal of the season, for more than one reason

Last season 7th place was 69 points from 42 games.
This year there are 44 games, so pro rata that would be 72 points.

We've played 22 games whereas most teams above us have played 20 or 21 games.
If you add two points for each game in hand to Bromley & Stockport that puts 7th place on 40 points after 22 games. Double that and pro rata it's 80 points for the season.

With lots of clubs in contention within a few points and none really getting clear this season, plus two with very low points at the bottom, I suspect that 7th place will need more points than last season.

Based on last season and the first half of this season I'd estimate we'd need to get to at least 75 points.
That would be 45 points from 22 games - say minimum 2 points a game to have any chance. That rate is about what's needed to win the league.

So can we manage league winning form for the second half of the season?
A long shot I think but much will depend on who Gary can bring in this month.
