Personally I see that as a point won rather than 2 dropped. It's a long season so let's be thankful we seem to have a spirit that other teams find hard to break. Next!!

Nick , I thought we had ten days off as well, we have a mickey mouse trophy game away at Aveley on the 19th. Not sure if we have more than three squad players available that don't regularly feature in the starting 11 so not many of the regular 11 will get a rest. If we put out the youth team the FA will probably fine us.

I am aware of the cup game, hence why I said "before
we go again in the league".

I would expert Warren, Buse, Walters and Umerah all to play. Further it could be the chance for Wynter and Moxey to return and gain some match fitness, depending on how long they are out for.

A number of youth players may feature in the match day squad and I would welcome that. I still believe the loan / transfer market will be used to help cover the Xmas and New Year period.

The positive aspect is that Hall should be back for Boxing Day.

Isn’t it 3 games for a straight red, so will be back for Weymouth?
Unless it is a successful appeal

My apologies Nick, mis- read your posting, agreed on the squad players having a game. would like to see some trialists as well because we are really light even without the odd sending off and hoping against hope that the loan players do not get called back at the end of December. Johnson mentioned last week he has plenty of agents and players offering their services.

Our opponents next Saturday in the FA Trophy will be the winner of Aveley v Chesham United who play tomorrow 15th at 19.45.

I hope it is Chesham as shorter journey for the lads.

Just seen footage of the ‘red card’ challenge of Asa Hall. Absolutely no way is it a red. In my opinion it is not even a yellow. The appeal has been dismissed, what a joke.

Just seen it myself - certainly not a red. I replayed it several times and thought he got the ball with studs down. No way was it a rake or stamp.
