Let's not over emphasise the miss in the closing minutes. He made the chance in the first place and the keeper was quick and closed down his options. There will be key moments next week as well and nothing is gained by over dwelling on it.

Exactly, good save but not sure he knew anything about it - don't think the draw was a fair result at all, there was only one team trying to play football, and we created all the chances.

The only thing they created was when the wind nearly blew the ball in. Also bemused with the choice of the Bromley man of the match, who apparently did well when they didn't have the ball (which was about 90% of the time)

I found the MOTM a bizarre choice too.

Bonkers choice for MOM
Also just looked at the stats for the Sutton Game
Weymouth failed to have a shot on or off target the whole game 🙄

We've seen many teams far more negative at Plainmoor.
I thought Bromley did want to win it but were pegged back for long periods.
They didn't resort to time wasting which was a pleasant change.

Watched one of the Sutton goals.

Pathetic defending by the two Weymouth centre halves and then the keeper dived out the way of the shot.

I rather hope that Sutton don't win the league as I'm convinced that their pitch has given them a tremendous advantage over everyone else.

I'm certainly not tuning in to wathc them play Sutton. Just will add more pain.

I obviously don’t want Sutton to win the league but IF they do they would, as I understand it, have to rip up their plastic pitch as the EFL don’t allow them.
Interesting as I believe their main sponsors are Angel Plastics or something like that and I guess they supplied the pitch!!!

Also if Sutton do go up automatically, I guess a lot of homes around the stadium will have new front and rear garden lawns. if not I hope there recycling centre has plenty of space.

Quite simply your pitch is a low grade artificial surface.

One would suggest that gives you an advantage as you play on it more than anyone else. Also your goal difference is +23 at home whilst +8 away.

+ 23 is miles better than anyone else in the league. In general you don't look such a good team away from your home pitch.

Anyway if you do go up any perceived advantage will be negated as it will be more of a level playing field so to speak.

Our home and away form is almost identical and Bromley’s results are better away from their 3G surface.
