The club and fans really could do with some good news regards new owners before the game with Taunton. It would lift the players and supporters right behind the team.
Or have the new owners done a runner as the trap door opens?

Wrexham are now in Division one after consecutive promotions, so £9 million well spent me thinks. We spent almost two thirds of that and look like we're heading for consecutive relegations, so money not so well spent.

A Mike Bateson type owner (which is probably what we'll get) is fine for stability, and he kept us in the league for more years than I can remember. We are no longer in the league though, and being stable, and possibly part-time in the non-league is not something I am looking forward to.

I would think it unlikely that there will be any announcement regarding a potential owner until our fate was decided.

We need to keep our eye on the ball for Tuesdays match.

Seen the picture and it does for all world appear to be Chris Dawson. Really quite unbelievable that he could be involved.

Wondered what the Chris Dawson connection could be, didn't realise he was born in Plymouth and I guess they're not available.

More like your Del Boy than your stereotypical retail tycoon'. His Royce Royce number plates are "DE11 BOY" Raised in a council house in Plymouth, only learning to read at the age of 27, this self-made billionaire from the South West could become the saviour of TUFC. This rumour could open up a whole new range of possibilities in a wide range of areas.

Edit; There was a topic on Pasoti about Dawson buying Argyle with the consensus that he was just not interested in Argyle - or football - at all. Make of that what you will.

Well that's a non starter given there's one 2 minutes down the road

What reason is there for a man who has a considerable amount of money to go and watch a game of National League South football!

The fact that football enjoys an incredibly generous tax regime maybe a good reason. The UK asks very few questions about tax loss that can be offset by companies against their profits.
